My name is Paulina Chromik. I am Polish, lived for two years in Enschede and currently I live in The Hague, the Netherlands.
In 2011 I was busy with my internship as subsidy and project advisor.
In the years 2012-2014 I was a trainee by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment. Currently I am working there as a policy advisor at the Directorate-General for the Environment and International Affairs (DGMI).
In my free time I write a blog about the Netherlands, the Dutch and their culture, politics, tradition, customs, etc.
I also learn to program in Java and PHP and do some modeling in Blender (see examples).
Field of interest
In the year 2010 I graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, obtaining the Master of Arts title.
I studied International Relations, specialization European Studies, and I wrote my masters' thesis on the topic:
"The foreign policy of the Netherlands towards the United States of America".
My fields of interest are the following:
politics, economics, diplomacy, public administration, sustainability, conflict analysis and management, international and European law, and European Studies.
In September 2011 my diploma was evaluated by Nuffic (Den Haag) as comparable to the Dutch
"mastergraad uit het wetenschappelijk onderwijs in de richting politicologie" (M.Sc. in Political Science).
I speak Polish, English, Dutch and French.
And a bit of German, Russian and Spanish, but if necessary I could undust my old books and revise it ;)
I did take and pass the national exam Dutch as a Second Language
